LIWAN has entered into a circularity agreement with Tier 1 automotive supplier HL Mando aimed at strengthening environmental sustainability throughout the industrial supply chain. The agreement includes the designing and implementing of circularity scheme to promote steel scrap recycling, and the production of low CO2-emissions products containing high scrap content on a commercial scale.
LIWAN and HL Mando have had good partnership in the past decade, especially in automotive steering and suspension system. Both LIWAN and HL Mando recognize that the integration of steel scrap management is not only a further win-win step for companies, but will also contribute to the long-term global goal of a green land.
The agreement reflects LIWAN’s commitment to social responsibility as to operate in a sustainable and ethical manner.
